Alexandra Park Golf Club is an inviting little nine-holer situated two miles east of the city centre of Glasgow, just off the M8/A8. It is a slightly hilly parkland course with its fair share of surprises, despite being only nine holes.

When you visit Glasgow or the West of Scotland do not miss the opportunity to play a round at Bishopbriggs Golf Club situated just north of Glasgow. The tree lined scenic parkland course at 6041 yards may sound short but do not be fooled by this as the course plays far longer.

Blairbeth is a traditional welcoming Scottish golf club situated below the escarpment of Cathkin Braes. From the clubhouse and many parts of the course, the golfer is presented with magnificent views extending to the east, north and west. On view is a panorama of the history of Glasgow through the ages.

An undulating parkland course that has matured superbly and with some great views of the Firth of Clyde. Designed by Stutt, the course was opened in 1966. A large number of trees were planted to border the generous, lush fairways, with the two burns which flow through the layout coming into play at several holes. The course has a par 72, complimented by an fine bar and excellent catering facilities.

Baberton is located in the west side of Edinburgh in the village of Juniper Green. Apart from a few extensions over the years, this parkland course offers the golfer a variety of interesting and challenging holes.

Braid Hills Golf Club  [link]

The course is immaculately kept and the fairways surrounded by punishing gorse, but straight drives are prized with approach shots to beautiful and true greens. The golf is testing and a wonderful accompaniement to Braid Hills No. 1, or a day out in its own right. From November to March, this course combines with Braids No. 1 to create a Braids Winter course open 7 days on normal greens.

Cupar is located on the outskirts of Cupar village on Cermes Road near the cemetery. Overseas visitors are regularly to be found at the course due to the fact that it is the oldest continuous nine-hole golf course in the world. Being only fifteen minutes from St Andrews it is definitely worth a visit.

This course has a lake that comes into play on the first three holes, and a drainage ditch affects three others. There is not a flat spot on the course except the tee areas. All the greens are elevated, so there are some uphill and downhill shots required.

Kingsbarns Golf Links is a championship-standard, 18-hole, traditional links golf course located along 1.5 miles of seacoast near St. Andrews, Scotland. Golf was played on the present site from 1793 until the course was closed in 1939. The course was expanded to championship standards and reopened in July 2000. Every hole offers immediate views of the North.
